- Page 2 II. BATTERY INSTALLATION (Transmitter & Vehicle) Requires 3 AA alkaline batteries for the vehicle and 3 AAA alkaline batteries for the transmitter. Vehicle 1. Use a screwdriver (not included) to unscrew the battery door and remove the battery cover. 2. Install 3 new AA alkaline batteries with polarity (+/-) as shown near to the battery cover.
