Power Door Locks - Chevrolet 2004 Tracker Owner's Manual

There are several ways to lock and unlock your vehicle.
From the outside, use your key. To lock the door,
turn the key toward the front of the vehicle. To unlock
the door, turn the key toward the rear.
If your vehicle is equipped with the remote keyless entry
system, you can use the transmitter to lock and unlock
the doors. See "Remote Keyless Entry System"
previously in this section.
To lock the door from the
inside, push down on the
manual lock rod located
on the door. To unlock it,
pull up on the manual
lock rod.

Power Door Locks

If your vehicle has power door locks, the switch is
located on the driver's door armrest.
You can lock all doors from the outside by inserting the
key into either front door lock cylinder, and turning it
toward the front of the vehicle.
If your vehicle is equipped with the remote keyless entry
system, you can also lock and unlock all doors using
the remote keyless entry transmitter. See Remote
Keyless Entry System Operation on page 2-4 .
To lock all the doors and
the tailgate, press the right
side of the switch. To
unlock the doors and the
tailgate, press the left
side of the switch.
