Listening to a CD

This system can play audio CD-R and CD-RW discs just as CD
discs, but cannot perform recording.
Playback of audio CD-R or CD-RW may not be performed depend-
ing on the disc state or the device you used for recording.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Press the FUNCTION button until "CD STOP" appears
on the display.
z When operating with the remote control, press the CD but-
ton.
z If no disc is loaded, the display will be "NO DISC" instead of
"CD STOP".

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD com-
partment.

Place a CD on the spindle,
label side up.

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD com-
partment.
z The CD playback will start automatically.
z When the last track on the disc has finished playing, the CD
player will stop automatically.
To stop playback:
Press the
button.
To resume playback,
press the
( ) button.
