No power.
Remote control does not

If you encounter problems when using this recorder, check the following
points before requesting service. If the problem remains unsolved,
register your product and get support at www.philips.com/welcome.
Press 2 button on the front of the recorder to turn on the

system.

Ensure that the AC outlet has power.
•
Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of
the recorder (not towards TV).
•
Remove any obstacles between the recorder and the remote
control.
•
Batteries are weak, replace the batteries.
•
Check the connection to the antenna or cable TV signal.
•
Manually tune and store the TV channel. See chapter "Adjust
Settings – Tune/ Modify a channel manually".
•
Exit from any on-screen menu.
