The ice maker on the LG LSXC22426 Series refrigerator may not be producing ice due to the following reasons:

1. The refrigerator or icemaker was recently installed and it may take up to 24 hours for it to start making ice.
2. The icemaker is not turned on; ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
3. The ice-detecting sensor is obstructed by frost or foreign substances; clean the sensor area.
4. The refrigerator is not connected to a water supply, or the shutoff valve is not turned on; ensure proper connection and the valve is fully open.
5. The icemaker shutoff arm or sensor is obstructed; ensure it moves freely or there is a clear path between the electronic sensors.
