Part 3: Cleaning and servicing

3.1. General points

Disconnect the chest freezer from the power supply before
cleaning or servicing.
Repair of the chest freezer and maintenance of the closed
refrigerant systems, refrigerant charging can be carried out only by
persons authorized to work with refrigerants and soldering with the
open flame of the gas burner.
The type and dose of the refrigerant is indicated on the
nameplate of the chest freezer.
The freezer chest is designed in such a way as to minimize the
amount of maintenance work. By complying the requirements and
recommendations in this manual, you will ensure the quality and
efficiency of this equipment. Cleaning and maintenance within the
scope of this manual will reduce the risk of chest freezer breakage
and increase the efficiency of this equipment. The chest freezer
must be maintained as part of the routine inspection and periodic
maintenance described in this manual.

3.2. Defrosting

Frosting on the inside walls of the chest freezer may reduce its
productivity. It is recommended to defrost the device when the ice
is more than 10 mm thick.
