When recovering from STR (S3) sleep mode, the system is able, in just a few seconds, to retrieve the last “state” of the system before it went to sleep and recover to that state.

The concept of this technology is based on the redundancy and fault tolerance theory. DualBIOS means there are two system BIOSes (ROM) integrated onto the motherboard. One is a main BIOS, and the other is a backup BIOS.
