Note that the following symptoms do not necessarily indicate the accessory malfunction. Check as follows before having
your authorized Honda dealer repair the accessory.
First, turn the starter motor with the car key and check whether the engine starts in 2 seconds or less. If the engine
does not start by turning the starter motor for 2 seconds or longer, check and troubleshoot your car before repairing the
accessory.
Consult with your authorized Honda dealer for the problems other than those listed below and on the following pages.
Engine does not start by operating the transmitter.
Check
Isn't the gearshift lever in a position but the "P"
position?
Isn't the keyless entry-integrated key or car key set in
the ignition switch?
Isn't a door open?

Remedy
Set the gearshift lever in the "P" position. (P.10)
Remove the keyless entry-integrated key or car key
from the ignition switch. (P.10)
Close the door. (P.10)
