Alcohol evaporates at high temperatures but may, in rare circumstances, combust on the hot heating elements.  Plastic containers, which are not heat-resistant, melt and may ignite at high temperatures and can damage the oven. Use only plastic containers that are indicated by the manufacturer as being suitable for use in ovens.
