    Printing Photos from a Computer This section describes how to print photos with My Image Garden. 1. Open the rear tray cover (A) and then pull up the paper support (B). 2. Open the feed slot cover (C). 3. Load paper vertically WITH THE PRINT SIDE FACING UP. 4.

    Copying This section describes how to load originals and copy them to plain paper loaded in the cassette. 1. Pull out the cassette (A) from the printer. 2. Remove the cassette cover (B). 3. Load the paper stack WITH THE PRINT SIDE FACING DOWN.
  • Page 27 Note • To load A4 or Letter-sized paper in the cassette, extend the cassette. 4. Align the paper guides (C) with the paper length and width. 5. Mount the cassette cover, and then insert the cassette into the printer.

    Printing a Disc Label from a Computer This section describes how to print photos on a printable disc with My Image Garden. Important • Do not attach the disc tray until the message asking you to load the printable disc is displayed. Doing so can damage the printer.

    Copying a Disc Label This section describes how to copy the label of an existing disc (BD/DVD/CD, etc.) and print it on a printable disc. 1. Select Copy (A) on the HOME screen. 2. Select Disc label (B). 3. Specify the print area of the printable disc as necessary. Tap Outer circle or Inner circle (C), specify the print area, then tap OK (D).

    Paper Sources The printer has two paper sources for feeding paper, the rear tray (A) and cassette (B). The paper source used depends on the page size and media type. Supported Media Types Note • When printing, select the correct page size and media type. If you select the wrong page size or media type, the printer may feed paper from the wrong paper source or may not print with the proper print quality.

The address is automatically rotated and printed according to the envelope's direction by specifying with the printer driver properly. Important • Printing of envelopes from the operation panel or from a PictBridge (Wireless LAN) compliant device is not supported.

It has a "M" on the upper side. • Do not print on printable discs that are not compatible with inkjet printing. The ink will not dry and may cause problems with the disc itself or devices which the disc is loaded onto.

Important • If you took and saved photos on a type of memory card that does not guarantee the operation on your PictBridge (Wireless LAN) compliant device, the image data may be unreadable on the printer or damaged.

    Inserting the Memory Card Important • When a memory card is inserted into the card slot, the Access lamp is lit. When the Access lamp is flashing, the printer is accessing the memory card. In this case, do not touch the area around the card slot.

This can damage the printer or the memory card. • Make sure that the memory card is correctly oriented before inserting it into the card slot. Cleaning unclogs the nozzles and restores the print head condition. Cleaning the print head consumes ink, so clean the print head only when necessary. You need to prepare: a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper 1.
