one a nother a nd r eport t heir c apabilities. A fter t his, o ne d evice c an c ontrol a nother a ccording t o t he
features y ou e nable. F or e xample, p laying a d isc o n a B lu-­‐ray p layer c ould s witch t he T V t o t he B lu-­‐ray
player's i nput. O r, p owering o ff t he T V c ould a lso p ower o ff t he B lu-­‐ray p layer a nd t he h ome t heater
receiver.
Discovering connected CEC devices
To d iscover C EC d evices:
1. Make s ure t hat y our C EC-­‐compatible c omponents a re c onnected t o t he T V w ith a s uitable h igh-­‐

2. Turn o n e ach c omponent a nd m ake s ure a ll c omponents a re C EC e nabled.

and t hen s elect S earch f or C EC d evices. P ress O K t o r epeat t he d iscovery p rocess, i f n ecessary.
