Control and Information Systems
The control and information systems consist of temperature displays,
an optical warning display and an acoustic warning.
The system warns:
– when there is a power cut;
– when the appliance doors are open
– if the temperature in the refrigerator or freezer compartment is too
high;
– if there are functional faults with the appliance.
Power cut warning
After an interruption to the power supply, POWER is shown in the
display. The temperature at the start of the power cut continues to be
shown. The POWER indicator goes out, as soon as any button is pressed.
"Open door" warning
When the fridge or freezer door is open, an alarm sounds and the
indicator DOOR ALARM and red back lighting flash.
– when the freezer door is open, after about 1.5 minutes,
– when the fridge door is open, after about 5 minutes.

1. If you need more time to put refrigerated or frozen food away or to re-
arrange it, you can cancel the alarm and the flashing red light by
pressing the RESET button.
If the doors are still open, the alarm starts again after 5 minutes (open
fridge section door) or 2 minutes (open freezer section door).
2. Using the RESET button you can cancel the alarm and the flashing red
light again for 5 minutes (open fridge section door) or 2 minutes (open
freezer section door). If the doors are still open after that, the alarm
starts again.
3. If the RESET button is pressed for a third time, the door alarm is
switched off for good.
The DOOR ALARM indicator goes out when the doors are closed.
