VIDEO OUTPUT FORMAT
To change TV connection setting:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Video output format
from middle panel
c) Select from options in right panel:
• Y Pb Pr if TV is connected to Component Output port on Unit
• RGB if TV is connected to SCART port on Unit
d) Press OK [ ] to confi rm
POWER SAVE MODE
To select Power Save mode when power is turned off:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
a) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Power Save Mode from
middle panel
a) Select ON or OFF option in right panel:
a) Press OK [ ] to confi rm
Option not available when timer recording set.
Power Save mode will not work while receiving encoded signals.
INITIALIZATION
To reset Unit to original factory settings (except for Rating, Password
and Area Code), and to format HDD:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Initialization from
middle panel
c) Select option in right panel:
• Factory Set. Auto Setup menu is displayed.
• HDD format. HDD contents are erased.
d) Press OK [ ] to confi rm

KARAOKE SETTINGS
To mix multi-channel karaoke DVD channels into normal stereo:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Select audio options icon in left panel
c) Select Vocal from middle panel
d) Select option in right panel:
• ON for mixed sound in stereo
e) Press OK [ ] to confi rm
