ADJUST SETTINGS

DISPLAYING SET UP MENU
a) Press HOME [ ]. First menu is displayed.
b) Press [ ] until Easy Menu is displayed
c) Select SETUP
d) Press OK [ ] to display set up menu
AUTO PROGRAMMING
To scan and set available channels automatically:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Press OK [ ] to confi rm
c) Enter Password if needed. (See Password Setting.)
d) Select broadcast type: All, Digital or Analogue, then press right [ ]
e) Select Start
f) Press OK [ ]. Channel scanning starts.
ADJUST PROGRAMMED CHANNELS
To scan and set available channels automatically:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Program Edit from
middle panel
c) Select Edit from right panel
d) Press OK [ ]. Channel editing screen is displayed.
e) Select channel to edit
f) Press OK [ ]. Option menu is displayed in left panel
g) Select option required:
• Favorite: Set highlighted channel as favorite
• For Analogue channels only:
• Delete: Delete channel from programmed channel list
• Move: Change order of channels and corresponding button
on remote control
• Station Rename: change name of channel
• Program Edit: Change settings of channel manually:
• PR: Indicate channel position

• Seek: Search for a channel automatically. Searching stops
when Unit tunes into a channel.
• Ch.: Change channel number
• MFT: Fine tune channel for clearer picture
• CANAL: Set channel for decoder, to watch or record
PAY-TV/Canal plus programs
• NICAM: Set channel for NICAM broadcast
h) Press OK [ ] to confi rm settings
PROGRESSIVE SCAN
For high defi nition and compatible televisions only:
• Set RES. button on front panel of Unit to 576p
SWITCHING PROGRAM LIST ON CHANNEL
EDITING SCREEN
To switch to another program list (Digital, Analogue or Radio):
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Program Edit from
middle panel
c) Select Edit from right panel
d) Press OK [ ]. Channel editing screen is displayed.
e) Use [ ] to highlight title at top of program list.
f) Use [ ] to select DIGITAL TV, ANALOG TV or RADIO.
List is displayed.
SETTING A FAVORITE CHANNEL
To set a channel as a favorite:
a) Display set up menu (see Displaying Set Up Menu)
b) Auto Programming is highlighted. Select Program Edit from
middle panel
c) Select Edit from right panel
d) Press OK [ ]. Channel editing screen is displayed.
e) Select channel to mark as favorite
f) Press OK [ ] to highlight Favorite on left panel
