configuration, the screen will scroll STANDBY MODE / PRESS ON KEY TO TURN UPS ON.

FREQUENCY CONVERTER refers to the ability of the UPS to convert 60Hz to 50Hz or 50Hz to
60Hz. The UPS system automatically selects 50 Hz or 60 Hz operation based on utility
power conditions at start-up. The factory configuration of DISABLE is ideal for most
applications. Some users may wish to convert frequency for connected equipment. To
successfully configure your UPS for frequency conversion, ENABLE the FREQUENCY
CONVERTER function and SET the OUTPUT FREQUENCY function to the desired 50 or 60 Hz
setting.

ECONOMY MODE is a UPS setting that enables enhanced efficiency and reduced BTU output
by suspending double-conversion circuits whenever input power is already of sufficient quality
to run connected equipment. In economy mode, the UPS consults the current BYPASS
RANGE setting (+/-5% to 10%). When input voltage strays pass the selected percentage
preset, the UPS will automatically switch to on-line mode. When input voltage falls back
within bypass range settings the UPS will automatically return to economy mode. Note: The
suggested setting range is +/- 5% to +/- 10%.
