Hello I'm confused on what setting it should be having problems with heat. This is the settings I have a carrier heat pump unit. So originally it was set to AC2 EL2 and O, cooling is great no issues. But for whatever reason heater doesn't work, so I switched settings to HP1 EL1 and O and it started blowing hot air after 20 mins or so the unit turned off and tstat was turning on and off so switched back to original settings and now I'm back at square one any help will be appreciated

For a Carrier heat pump unit, the recommended settings for the Sensi ST75W thermostat are:
- RC or R: Power for cooling, 24V - RH: Power for heating, 24V - C (Common wire): Required for 24V power - Y (Y1): 1st stage cooling and heating - Y2 (Y2/*): 2nd stage cooling and heating (if applicable) - W/E: 1st stage auxiliary/emergency heat - W2: 2nd stage auxiliary/emergency heat (if applicable) - G: Indoor blower (fan) - O/B: Reversing valve for heat pump system
Ensure the thermostat is configured for heat pump mode and verify wiring matches the Carrier system specifications.
