If the USB HDD does not have an external
y
y
power source, the USB device may not be
detected. So be sure to connect the external
power source.
- Please use a power adaptor for an external
power source.
If your USB memory device has multiple
y
y
partitions, or if you use a USB multi-card
reader, you can use up to 4 partitions or USB
memory devices.
If a USB memory device is connected to a
y
y
USB multi-card reader, its volume data may
not be detected.
If the USB memory device does not work
y
y
properly, disconnect and reconnect it.
How fast a USB memory device is detected
y
y
differs from device to device.
If the USB is connected in Standby Mode,
y
y
that drive will automatically be loaded when
the display is turned on.
The recommended capacity is 1 TB or less
y
y
for a USB external hard disk and 32 GB or
less for USB memory.
Any device with more than the recommend-
y
y
ed capacity may not work properly.
If a USB external hard disk with a Energy
y
y
Saving function does not work, turn the
hard disk off and on again to make it work
properly.
USB storage devices below USB 2.0 are
y
y
supported as well. But they may not work
properly with videos.
A maximum of 999 folders or files can be
y
y
recognized under one folder.
It is recommended you use a certified USB
y
y
storage device and cable. Otherwise, a USB
storage device may not be detected or a
playback error may occur.
Only a USB memory device can be used
y
y
to play back the files distributed and stored
by SuperSign Manager. A USB hard disk or
multi-card reader will not work.
Only an FAT 32 file formatted storage device
y
y
can play back the files distributed and stored
by SuperSign manager.
A USB 3.0 storage device may not work.
y
y
Do not remove the Signage device (internal
y
y
storage device) or turn off the display
while copying a file from the USB device
to the Signage device or deleting a file in
the Signage device. The device may be
damaged or the system may be affected.
The Copy and Delete functions may not be
y
y
available if you use a USB device formatted
by the NTFS file system, which is provided
by the Windows operating system, or a read-
only storage device.
If the files of the contents list are in the
y
y
storage device connected to the monitor set,
the content is played when the monitor is
powered on. When both USB storage device
and internal storage device are connected to
the monitor, the monitor plays the content of
the most recently recognized storage device.
