POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS WORK AREA 1. Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents. 2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids or gases. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. -

5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. 6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. VIBRATION The declared vibration emission values stated in the specifications have been measured in accordance with a standard test method provided by EN 60745 and may be used for comparing one tool with another. -

STARTING & STOPPING THE SANDER 1. Ensure the sander is switched OFF before plugging into the power supply. 2. Switch the machine ON or OFF by pressing the rocker switch. 3. Lock the switch in the ON position if required by pressing in the trigger lock button on the side of the handle. -

Regularly clean the motor ventilation slots using a soft dry brush or dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner. A damaged power cable should be replaced by your CLARKE dealer or qualified electrician. There are no user-serviceable parts in this sander. The bearings in this sander are sealed for life and require no maintenance. -
