Page 2: First Time Installation
Fitting Kit K454W First Time Installation Remove parts from inside the package and check. Contact your dealer if any parts are missing or damaged. This kit fits type C only. Fitment Open or remove fixed-point covers. Front and centre covers only. - Page 3 Fitting Kit K454W Place clamp into position as pictured. Hold clamp using M6 capscrew, spring washer and flat washer. Leave clamp loose. Remove crossbar leg cover. Use hex screwdriver to reverse adjusting screw 10 turns.
- Page 4 Fitting Kit K454W Fit rubber pad (supplied with crossbar) to foot. Make sure the pad fits into the holes underneath the foot. Remove locking screw. Place crossbar foot over clamp. Place crossbar foot over clamp. Secure clamp to foot using M8 bolt.
- Page 5 Fitting Kit K454W Tighten clamp to roof. Set bars to length (revert to rear of these instructions). Please check the rear of this manual for information relating specifically to your vehicle. Tighten adjusting screw.
- Page 6 Fitting Kit K454W Place nylon then steel washers on capscrew (supplied in kit). Install capscrew through slot in clamp and into internal block. Do not over tighten. Check crossbar is securely attached to the vehicle. Foot to sit in position shown.
- Page 7 Fitting Kit K454W CAUTION: Recheck all fasteners immediately after a load is applied to the crossbars. Regularly check screws are tight.

Fitting Kit K454W Maintenance Clean the car roof and surfaces of the product that will be in contact with the car roof. Follow the fitting instructions for fitting the product to your vehicle. Make sure all steps are carried out in order. - Page 9 Fitting Kit K454W Check and replace worn out or defective parts. Keep the product clean and maintained. Never drive into a car wash with the roof rack system fitted. Lubricate locks and adjusting screws at regular intervals. Remove the products from the vehicle when not in use.
