Description
Used to distinguish the name of each serial port. It allows 1 to 15 characters (e.g. A-Z,
a-z, 0-9)
The rate of data transmission to and from the attached serial device. It allows 50 bps to
921600 bps. The default is 921600 bps.
The stop bit follows the data and parity bits in serial communication. It indicates the end
of transmission. The default is 1.
Indicates the number of the bits in a transmitted data package. The allowed value is
5,6,7,8 and default value is 8.
This parameter controls the error checking mode. It support five modes and default
value is none.

The method is used to suspend and resume data transmission to ensure that data is not
