Symptoms
The PC does not recognize
this system.

Resetting the microcomputer

Solution
Connect the PC and this system properly using a USB
cable.
If a USB hub is used in the connection, check if the
hub is functioning properly. Alternatively, change the
connected port.
Set the PC properly.
The audio may be interrupted if the PC is used for an
operation that imposes a burden on the CPU during
the audio output. Avoid executing operations that may
impose a burden on the CPU.
The audio may be interrupted if a USB cable is connected
to or disconnected from another USB connector of the
PC. Do not connect or disconnect the USB cables to
other equipment during audio playback.
Noise may be noticeable if the system is installed near
a source of strong magnetic waves (TV, etc.). Install the
system away from a source of strong magnetic waves.
Malfunctions may occur due to an external cause or because a connec-
tion cord was unplugged while the system was turned on.
Use the procedure below to reset the microcomputer.
1 Unplug the power cord from the AC
wall outlet.
2 Plug the power cord back in while
holding down the power [K] key on
the main unit.
3 Upon the start of the microcomputer
resetting, the display shown on the
right appears.
4 When fi nish resetting, it turns to
Standby Mode.
Bear in mind that resetting erases any
stored information and restores the
system's default settings.
