Problem
I cannot make a call.
I cannot receive a call.
I cannot send SMS
messages.
I cannot receive SMS

voicemail message
notifications.
Cause/solution
● Outgoing calls are barred.
Deactivate the outgoing call bar
settings (page 51).
● Your call is withheld. Change the
show my ID setting to a setting
other than "Hide ID" (page 51).
● Fixed dialling feature is enabled
(page 49). Disable it.
● Incoming calls are barred.
Deactivate the incoming call bar
settings (page 43).
● The phone could not connect to
the service centre. Confirm that
the correct service centre number
is stored (page 46).
● Fixed dialling feature is enabled
(page 49). Disable it.
● SMS message transmission was
interrupted. Wait until the SMS
message has been sent before
using other phone functions.
● When the SMS message memory
is full, you may not be able to
receive any new voicemail
message notifications. Erase
unnecessary SMS messages to
receive new voicemail message
notifications (page 28).
