If the player fails to operate normally, check the following points to determine whether the fault can be corrected by the simple mea- sures suggested. If it cannot be corrected, or if the fault is not listed in the SYMPTOM column, disconnect the AC cord and contact your authorized YAMAHA dealer or service center for help. Symptom (Common) No power. - Page 47 Symptom (DVD) No subtitles. Alternative audio soundtrack (or subtitle) languages fail to be selected. Angle cannot be changed. Play does not start even when title is selected. Audio soundtrack and/or subtitle language is not the one selected at the initial settings. The menu is displayed in French (example).
