PILOT FLAME PATTERN ( IF USING NVDWA2 PILOT KIT )
Figure 11 shows a correct and incorrect pi-
lot flame patterns. The incorrect pilot flame
is not touching the thermocouple. This will
cause the thermocouple to cool, which
shuts the fireplace off. There should not be
excessive flames present under pilot shield.
If unit has been converted to propane gas
and the pilot injector orifice has not been
replaced, there will be excessive pilot
flames. Install propane injector orifice if this
is the case.
• Keep the area around the log set clean and clear of debris.
• Occasionally, you may use a soft bristle brush to clean logs.
