    • Ensure the correct 240-volt power supply is available for electric dryers.
    • If a regular fuse was used, use a time-delay fuse.
    • Ensure the dryer door is firmly closed.
    • Ensure the Start button or knob was firmly pressed.
    • Make sure a cycle is selected. The dryer will not start in the Wrinkle Prevent position; move the dial past OFF.

    To clean the lint screen:

    • The lint screen is located on top of the dryer or in the door.
    • Pull the lint screen straight up or toward you.
    • Roll lint off the screen with your fingers. Do not rinse or wash the screen to remove lint, as wet lint is hard to remove.
    • Push the lint screen firmly back into place. For As Needed Cleaning to remove residue buildup:
    • Wet both sides of the lint screen with hot water.
    • Wet a nylon brush with hot water and liquid detergent. Scrub the lint screen with the brush to remove residue buildup.
    • Rinse the screen with hot water.
    • Thoroughly dry the lint screen with a clean towel. Replace the screen in the dryer. Clean the lint screen before each load as a blocked screen can increase drying time. Do not run the dryer with the lint screen loose, damaged, blocked, or missing, as this can cause overheating and damage.
