CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Keep the Therapure 640S functioning properly by cleaning the cleanable HEPA-Type Filter every four ® weeks of use. More frequent cleaning will be necessary if the unit is located in an area with a high level of airborne contaminants (excessive amounts of smoke, pet dander, etc.). CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Cleaning the Pre-Filter Release the air inlet grill by pressing on the locking latch. 2. Gently remove the pre-filter from the air inlet grill. 3. To clean the pre-filter, simply submerge in warm soapy water. Gently lift and submerge the pre-filter several times until it is clean. -
