To remove the shroud on a Star Trac 8-CT:

1. Remove the motor shroud carefully without modifying the equipment.
2. Save any screws removed for reassembly.
3. If removing the PVS (Personal Viewing Screen) shroud, use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the eight (8) screws securing the PVS rear shroud, then remove the PVS shroud.

Always disconnect all power before performing maintenance or cleaning.
