The appliance is intended solely for household use. This upright refrigerator - freezer (hereinafter: the appliance) is composed of two parts: the upper compartment is a refrigerator and the lower compartment is a freezer.

The wall outlet must be fitted with a ground terminal (safety socket). The use of an extension cord is not recommended.   • Page 10 Switching the appliance Before the first use of the appliance first plug the power cable ON/OFF into the wall socket. Display indicates dashes for both the refrigerator and the freezer. - Switch the appliance ON by pressing the button A for 3 seconds.

Red signal lamp and temperature flashing are stopped automatically when the freezer/refrigerator has cooled enough that there is no more risk of food becoming unsafe to eat. • If the freezer temperature fails to arrive at the adequate level 24 hours after the alarm was switched off it is activated again, and again switched off automatically when the freezer has cooled enough for safe storage of food.

Always respect the use-by date, printed on the packaging. Food to be stored in the refrigerator should be properly packed so as to prevent absorbing of moisture and building up of odors.
