11. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base
without first putting bowl properly in place.
12. Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating
appliance.
13. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. When not in use, store
blades only inside locked and secured work bowl.

processing blades with the designated work bowl (chopping
blade with chopping bowl or grinding blade with grinding bowl).
Using the Pro Prep
damage the unit and may result in injury.
15. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children less than 8 years. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

UK WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your
plug proceed as follows:
• T he wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
• T he wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
• N either core should be connected to the earth terminal of a three
pin plug marked with the letter E or
green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be
fitted. If any other type of plug is used a 10 amp fuse must be fitted
either in the plug or at the distribution board.
