Do not use abrasive cleaners.
To clean exterior surfaces, use a damp soft cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any chemical solvents, as these

When the tank is empty, release the steam regulator and set it to position "0". Reconnect the iron to
evaporate the remaining water.
Unplug the iron and move it over a preferably old piece of cloth. This ensures that the soleplate is dry
when storing the appliance.
A special resin filter inside the water reservoir softens the water and prevents scale build-up in the plate.
