Rear Fireback (ceramic firebacks have 2 pieces - note orientation below)
NOTE: The rear fireback of the Herringbone and the Stacked Tan kits have an arrow cast into the back. To
ensure proper brick alignment make sure the arrow is pointing upward. The rear panel of the Handmade Brick
liner can be installed with either edge facing up.

The firebacks should be installed while finalizing the installation (before installing the logs).
- Page 3 96100873 Brick, 96100874 Herringbone, 96100875 Enamel Black, 96100877 Stacked Tan Brick 4237 EG units with Enamel Black Firebacks ONLY Remove the rear log shelf. Loosen the 2 screws that secure the shelf to the unit, slide the shelf backward slightly and lift up to remove.

Secure with the two fireback clips. Repeat these steps for the remaining side fireback. Place the floor firebacks in place.
