Due to its tubular structure, the mattress ensures an appropriate arrangement of body weight and correct ventilation (oxygenation and moisture diversion). The air insulation provides an optimal temperature and comfort of use. All of the above-mentioned factors play crucial role for bedsore prophylaxis and treatment. -

Operation • After unpacking, check if it contains all parts in accordance with the list of elements set out above. Ensure that all components have no visible damage. If any doubts, please contact the manufacturer. The mattress should be placed on the bed in such a way that the pump is located on the side with a patient's feet. -

Safety of use WARNING! a) Before using the mattress, refer to this manual and keep it for future reference. b) Permitted user weight 140 kg. c) Please remember that on the mattress should stay only the patient (the other people on the mattress are not allowed). -

Depending on your preferences you should choose the right degree of firmness on a scale of 1 SOFT to 5 FIRM. - Page 8 SHORT-TERM CLOSURE OF THE AIR SUPPLY In a situation when it is necessary to transport a patient with a bed for a short distance very quickly, you can disconnect the mattress from the pump and close the air outlet. To do this, switch off the pump, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Remove the connecting element from pump jack and close the air outlet.
- Page 9 PROBLEM SOLVING Do not try to repair the pump, do not open it as it can lead to electric shock! The knob is in "ON" position but the pump does not work. Please, check if the cable is plugged to electric supply and to the pump. If not, you should plug it.
