Unboxing and setup
Turning your phone off
1. If the display is off, press the Power button to turn it back on.
2. Press and hold the Power button until the options menu opens.
3. Tap Power off.

Setting up your phone for the first time

When you switch on HTC Desire 22 pro for the first time—or after you've done a factory reset—
you'll need to set up the phone.
§ Before you start, back up your photos, videos, and data to your Google

During the setup, you'll be prompted to do the following:
§ Choose the system language to use, read and agree to the terms of use, and choose your
internet connection.
§ Choose where to copy or restore data from.
§ Sign into your Google Account.
§ Turn on the various Google services. Make sure the Back up to Google Drive option is turned
on to enable Auto Backup.
It's also recommended to enable Location and Device maintenance services.

To install app updates and finish the phone setup, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the
Notifications panel, and then tap the Android Setup notification. Follow the onscreen instructions
to complete the setup.

Adding accounts

Add your accounts to access them on HTC Desire 22 pro. You can add several Google Accounts and
sync contacts, email, calendar, and Google app data from these accounts to HTC Desire 22 pro.
1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Passwords & accounts.
2. Tap Add account.
3. Tap the account type you want to add.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your account information.
