Recording videos in slow motion

Add a touch of suspense by recording actions in slow motion.
Audio is recorded in this mode, but will only be available when video is played back in normal
speed.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Slow Motion mode. See
3. Tap the slow motion rate to change it. You can set it to 3x slower or 4x slower.
4. To start recording, tap

to pause the recording, and then tap
6. To stop recording, tap

to exit Slow Motion mode.

Recording a time-lapse video

Use Time-lapse mode to capture slow changing scenes or actions—such as clouds moving through
the sky or construction of a building—as fast moving videos.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Time-lapse mode. See
3. Tap the time-lapse interval to change it. You can select an interval between 1s to 10s.
4. When you're ready to start recording, tap

§ Change focus to a different subject or area by tapping it on the Viewfinder screen.
§ Tap the flash icon to turn the flash on or off.
