OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure the safe operation of ProBasics
instructions must be followed.
PROPER CANE HEIGHT
1. Stand as upright as possible on a firm, flat surface and let
your arm hang down naturally by your side.
2. Adjust cane so top portion of handle touches inside of
wrist where it meets palm.
NOTE: F or a more comfortable fit, ensure shoe height is
the same as shoe style worn most frequently when
using cane.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen the locking ring by twisting clockwise.
2. Adjust the cane height by depressing the brass
push button and sliding the lower section upward or
downward to desired height.
NOTE:
An audible click will be heard when push button
securely protrudes through the adjustment hole.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 until cane is at proper height.
4. Tighten locking ring by turning counter-clockwise.
ADJUSTING FOR LEFT/RIGHT HAND USE
1. Loosen the locking ring by twisting clockwise.
2. Depress the push button and turn cane handle 180
degrees until the push button locks into same height
adjustment hole on other side of cane.
3. Secure locking ring by twisting counter-clockwise
until tight.
MAINTENANCE
1. Ensure the snap button releases and re-engages
properly.
2. Inspect cane tips for wear and damage.
3. Replace any broken, damaged or worn items
immediately.
