User Instructions for:
Service instructions
The lifting bags may only be used for lifting items/luggage and may only be used when the following conditions are complied with:
Warning: Please notice that any failure to follow the instructions in this manual can cause severe injury to you and/or your colleagues.
• This lifting bag is produced and tested according to EN 1492-1 and ISO 21898.
• The bags have a maximum service life of 5 years from the year of production.
• The bags must have a fixed label with a date for the next inspection. Please refer to the production date if the label does not show date for next
inspection or is unreadable. Bags without a label must not be used.
• The bags have to undergo a service check at least once a year.
• The service has to be performed by an approved person or lifting equipment supplier.

General safety notes - Before, during and after use
Perform an inspection before use:
• Check if the bag has undergone a service check within the last 6 or
12 months (according to national regulations).
• Check for damages. The bag must not have any holes.
• Check for any signs of stress, overload and material degradation.
• Never exceed the allowed WLL of the loads.
• Inspect for wear and tear, and do not use the tool bag if there is any
doubt of the integrity of the bag.
• The material must not be damp (except water).
• The material must not be exposed to oil, chemicals or any other
fluids (except water).
Placing the items/luggage in the bag:
• No sharp objects. Unless the object is adequately protected to
prevent damages to the tool bag.
• All fluids must be in a suitably sealed container.
• Lifting bags without protective bottom covers shall never be
dragged on the ground. They must always be lifted clear of the
ground when transported.

After use:
• Keep the bag in a dry place out of the sun.
• If the bag becomes wet during use, place it in a well ventilated and
dry area so it is dry before next use.
• Inspect for any damages and/or leakage of containerised fluids. All
leaked fluids, except water, must be washed-out immediately.
General Safety Notes:
• When maneuvering the bag under lifting operations, use the
handling straps on the side of the bag.
• Before releasing the lifting hook, please ensure the bag is on a
secure base, so the bag cannot fall or tip and release the contents.
• For prolonged lifting or lifting under windy conditions, use of anti-
rotation line is recommended.
• Never walk or pass under a lifted load/tool bag.
• Never modify the bag and never exceed the WLL (working load limit)
of the lifting bag.
• Never expose the bag to shock-loading.
• Never expose the bag to naked flames.
• Never expose the bag to temperatures above 100ºC / below -40ºC.
