10. Do not run the cable under a carpet or rug. Arrange the cable so that it is
located out of those areas used most frequently, and in such a way that no
one can trip over it.
11. Never put the appliance on hot surfaces or near open flames. Lay the flex so
that it does not touch hot or sharp-edged objects.
12. Attention! The appliance is hot after it is switched off. Let it stand for a short
time before it is moved. Do not operate the appliance in the open air.
13. Never fill hot water in the water tank.
14. Never add fragrant oils.
15. Position the appliance so that steam emitted does not damage wooden fur-
niture or other items.
16. Never operate the appliance with any air opening blocked. Keep ventilation
openings free from dust. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
17. Only trained personnel should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs
can cause considerable danger to the user.
18. If the connection cord is damaged, it must be by the manufacturer, his after-
sales services department or qualified person in order to avoid risks.
