2. INTRODUCTION

You have just purchased a Cuisinart® juicer. Congratulations on your purchase!

4. USE

a. Assembling the juicer
• Carefully wash and then rinse the lid, press, extractor and tank with hot water. Do not
rinse the motor block with water, but simply wipe it with a damp cloth.
• Fit the container onto the motor base. The three plastic notches located on the bottom of
the container are inserted into the three holes located on top of the motor base.
• Position the juicing cone on the top of the release mechanism.
• Place the lid on the container.
• Plug the unit in. The juicer is ready to be used.
b. Using the juicer
• Place the unit on a horizontal, level surface.
• Remove the lid.
• Place a glass or other container under the spout.
• Set the spout to the open position.
• Cut the fruit horizontally.
• Place the centre of the fruit on the centre of the juicer. Place your palm on the fruit.
• Press the fruit down firmly enough to activate the release mechanism.
• When you feel the juicing cone through the skin of the fruit, remove the fruit.
• Take another piece of fruit and repeat.
• After juicing approximately 200 gr of fruit (the equivalent of 3 oranges), the sieve will
