FOR YOUR SAFETY
If you smell gas:
1. Open windows.
2. DO NOT try to light any
appliance.
3. DO NOT use electrical
switches.
4. DO NOT use any telephone
in your building.
5. Leave the building.
6. Immediately call your local
gas supplier after leaving
the building. Follow the gas
supplier's instructions.
7. If you cannot reach your gas
supplier, call the Fire
Department.
DO NOT store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.

Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service

damage. Read the installation, operation and service

    Fuel Conversion Instructions ® GORDONRAY BH SERIES HEATER WARNING Burner is secured to transition tube by Bolts and Lockwashers. Upon removal of Bolts, Burner is free from Transition Tube and will fall if not supported. Failure to follow these instructions will result in death, injury or property damage.
  • Page 11 Fuel Conversion Instructions ROBERTS GORDON Remove the blower and door assembly from the burner assembly: Step 2 Unplug the blower; using a 1/4" nut driver or a phillips (+) screwdriver, remove the (7) screws and the door assembly and set aside. Refer to Page 7, Figure 4.

    Clearances to Combustibles ® GORDONRAY BH SERIES HEATER Clearances are the required distances that com- WARNING bustible objects must be away from the heater to prevent serious fire hazards. Combustibles are materials, vapors or liquids, which may catch on fire and include common items such as wood, paper, rubber, fabric, etc.

    Operation and Maintenance ® GORDONRAY BH SERIES HEATER After lockout, control must be reset by turning WARNING down thermostat for five (5) seconds, and then raising it again to desired temperature, or by dis- connecting power and then reconnecting. When thermostat is satisfied, all power to the unit is shut off.

Make sure there is no sagging, bending or distortion. Do not operate if there is sagging, cracking or distortion. Gas Line Check for gas leaks.
