2.2 Function check

Transfer products are also subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the equipment regularly and carefully, in
particular before each use. Ensure that the product is in sound condition and that the material and the seams are
not damaged. Check the product functionality by applying pressure to the handles and buckle and ensure that the
material withstands the load. The rough surface of the anti-slip material prevents slipping. Check these properties –
ideally in comparison to a new product.
