Installing the DIAG Tools
The DIAG tools are not part of the Diag-OS install. You must install them separately. Boot into the
DIAG-OS and, at the CLI, download the tools package (scp
<login>@<serveraddress>:<location>/dn_diags-<s6100>–DiagOS-1.10.deb).

If an updated version of the S6100-ON BIOS is available, upgrade the BIOS image using the
smbiostool included with diagnostic package. In this example, the BIOS is not loaded as part of the
updater package, so you must copy the BIOS image to the local directory using tftp copy or scp
copy.

Verify the BIOS version on powercycle. For example, if the <image_name> is s6100–
BIOS-3.25.0.3.bin, verify that the BIOS version is 3.25.0.3.
