If an original Siemens Car Kit is used
the profile is activated automatically
as soon as the phone is inserted into
the cradle.
Calls are accepted after the 3rd ring.
Depending on the setup the ignition
may need to be switched on. Bug-
ging is possible!

power supply. The time between
switching off the ignition and deacti-
vation of the phone can be adjusted.
• Permanent illumination:
Switched on,
• Auto key lock: Switched off,
• Charge the phone battery,
• Automatically activate CarKit,
when the phone is inserted.

If an original Siemens Headset is

used the profile is activated automat-
ically as soon as the headset is
plugged in.
Calls are automatically accepted af-
ter the 3rd ring. You should be wear-
ing the headset. Other people may
be able to hear the phone.
Switch to Headset during a call (if the
phone is connected to the Headset).
Accept call with the Call key or PTT
key (Push To Talk) when the key lock
is activated.
These functions are only available
with the appropriate original Sie-
mens accessories (p. 74).
