4 4 4 4 4 Making Power Management Settings

Power Management lets you control the amount of power supplied to
the CPU, LCD, hard disk, and other peripherals in order to extend
battery life. The followings are the available Power Management
modes.
• Economy Mode
• Normal Mode
• User Defined Mode
The User Defined Mode lets you specify a number of Power
Management parameters, including those listed below.
• Amount of time to allow after the last operation before the system
• Method for alerting the user to low battery power
• CPU Clock Speed
• LCD Brightness
To change the Power Management Mode
Power Management Off
Tapping the Economy Mode, Normal Mode, or User Defined Mode
button changes to the corresponding mode. The following shows the
settings that are made when the Economy Mode or Normal Mode is
entered.
CPU Clock Speed
Hard Disk Power Off
LCD Brightness
Time to Standby
Time to Hibernation
Power Management is turned off automatically whenever the AC
adaptor is connected to FIVA.
