6.2.4 Alarm Management
The alarm management of the BTS/DBS is implemented by the LMT and the
centralized alarm management system of the M2000. The BTS/DBS sends the alarm
information to the LMT or the M2000, and saves the alarm information in alarm files.
The BTS/DBS collects the alarm information and divides the information by type and
severity. After this processing, the BTS/DBS sends the alarm information to the LMT or
the M2000. The LMT or M2000 displays the alarm information in GUI, providing the
location, cause, and troubleshooting suggestions.
6.2.5 Log Management
The log management of the BTS/DBS is implemented by the LMT. The BTS/DBS
system collects and stores equipment operation, service operation, and service
communication logs.
From the logs, you can know the current or history running states of the system,
operation information, and alarm information. This helps avoid system failures.
