Problem
A downloaded tone with
waveform contains noise or
keyboard operations become
abnormal when user data is
selected.
Cannot save data to an SD
memory card.
Cannot recall data from an SD
memory card.
A tone's quality and volume
sounds
slightly
different
depending where it is played
on the keyboard.
Possible Cause
Someone may have turned off the
keyboard while data was being
stored in Flash memory or
something else has caused Flash
memory contents to become
corrupted for some reason.
1. The memory card is write-
protected.
2. The memory card is not inserted
correctly into the card slot.
3. There is not enough space left on
the memory card.
4. You are trying to use a memory
card whose capacity is not
supported by this keyboard.
5. The memory card is damaged.

This is an unavoidable result of the digital sampling process,* and does not indicate
malfunction.
* Multiple digital samples are taken for the low range, middle range, and high range of
the original musical instrument. Because of this, there may be a very slight difference in
tonal quality and volume between sample ranges.
Troubleshooting
Action
Use the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION
button to perform the system reset
operation. If this does not correct
the problem, contact your nearest
authorized CASIO Service Provider
to request maintenance.

storage.

into the card slot.

delete files you no longer need
from the memory card you are
using.
