LCD MONITOR BRIGHTNESS

Adjust the brightness of the camera's LCD monitor display. Use this
adjustment when the monitor image is difficult to view because of ambient
lighting.
In addition, in very bright surroundings, such as outdoors on a sunny day, you
can turn the backlight OFF to preserve battery power.

Display the Option Screen (page 114).

Select the LCD brightness icon ,,
and press the SET button.
h The brightness control display
appears.

Toggle the SET button to the left or right to set the brightness, and
press the SET button.
h The LCD monitor brightness is set.
HINT
i The display in step 2 can also be accessed from the Shooting Screen.
Press and hold the MENU button for at least 1 second; the brightness
control display will appear, and you can then adjust the monitor brightness.
