- Page 7 Onboard Programming The Kinesis SmartSet Engine is designed to let you quickly and easily re-program the keyboard layout without downloading any software by using the SmartSet Key in conjunction with the 4 Hotkeys. Remember to toggle to one of the 9 programmable profiles first, and then follow the steps below.
