MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. When cleaning the door and oven surfaces that come into contact when the door is closed, use
only a sponge or cloth to apply mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents.
2. Turn off the oven and unplug it from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
3. Keep the inside of the oven clean. If food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to the oven walls, wipe
it with a damp cloth. If the oven is too dirty, use a mild detergent. Avoid using sprays or other strong
cleaners as they may stain, scratch or dull the door surface.
4. External surfaces should be wiped with a damp cloth. To avoid damage to the operating parts
inside the oven, water should not be allowed to enter the ventilation openings.
5. Wipe the window on both sides with a damp cloth to remove residues from spills or splashes.
or splashes.
6. Do not allow the control panel to get wet. Wipe with a damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel,
leave the oven door open to prevent the oven from being turned on accidentally.
7. If steam builds up inside the oven door or around the outside, wipe it off with a cloth. This is normal
and can occur when operating the microwave oven in very humid conditions.
8. It is sometimes necessary to remove the glass dish for cleaning. Wash it in soapy water or in an
automatic dishwasher.
9. The slide ring and the bottom of the oven should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise.
Simply clean the bottom of the oven with a mild detergent. The slide ring can be washed in soapy
water or in the automatic dishwasher. After removing the slide ring from the bottom of the oven cavity
for cleaning, be sure to replace it in the correct position.
10. To remove odors from the oven, add the juice and peel of one lemon to one cup of water in a deep
bowl and microwave for 5 minutes. Clean well and dry with a cloth.
11. When the oven bulb needs to be replaced, contact the nearest Authorized Service Center.
12. Do not dispose of this appliance in the household waste container; take it to a specialized urban
landfill.
