Page 4: Grounding Instructions
This vacuum cleaner is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a ground plug (see illustration). Make sure that the vacuum is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. - Page 5 When not in use, store the vacuum indoors in a clean, dry area where it can not be damaged or cause injury. Push the switch all the way forward to use the maximum power setting. Machine should be turned off before returning handle to full upright position. Always turn the vacuum cleaner off before unplugging it from the electrical outlet. Edge Cleaning The edge cleaning feature provides improved cleaning near walls and stationary furniture. -

Your vacuum belt is covered with a lifetime warranty. Should the vacuum belt break, simply bring your vacuum or the broken belt to your Authorized Riccar Retailer for a free replacement. Change the Vacuum Bag CAUTION: First, unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet. -

How To Remove/Install the Bottom Plate CAUTION: First, unplug the vacuum cleaner from the electrical outlet. To Remove Bottom Plate: 1. After unplugging the power cord, turn the vacuum cleaner over, exposing the underside. 2. Press the two holding tabs inward (figure 17) releasing the bottom plate. -
