43. Bugaboo Buffalo may become unstable if bags or luggage other than
those recommended by Bugaboo are placed on the handlebar.
44. Use only accessory combinations that are approved and recommended by
Bugaboo.
USING THE SEAT/BASSINET INDEPENDENTLY OF THE CHASSIS

45. The bassinet and seat when used independently of the chassis are suitable
for a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll over and cannot push itself up on
its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child is 9 kg (20 lbs), maximum
age 6 months, whichever comes first.
46. Never use the bassinet on a stand.
47. FALL HAZARD: Child's activity can move the bassinet and seat when used
independently of the chassis. NEVER place bassinet and seat on counter
top, table, or any other elevated surface. Only use on a firm, horizontal
level and dry surface.
48. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use harness.
49. Do not let other children play unattended near the bassinet and seat.
50. The seat or bassinet do not replace a cot or a bed and is not intended for
prolonged periods of sleeping. Should your child need to sleep, then it
should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
51. NEVER use this bassinet or seat as means to transport an infant in a motor
vehicle.
52. SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Seat and bassinet when used off chassis can roll
over on soft surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER place seat and bassinet
on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
53. SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants can suffocate:
- In gaps between an extra padding and side of the bassinet.
- On soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, sheet, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the
pad provided by Bugaboo.
54. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend health infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by physicians.
Some instructions require special attention for ensuring the
safe use of the Bugaboo Buffalo. When you see this symbol
in the instructional part of the user guide, please refer to the
warnings in the "WARNINGS" chapter.
